to That the city clert~ has, with the assistance of the cgty engineer, calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of storm sewer, City Project
No.. 546 against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benefited
thereby in accordance with the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so
made 9~p ~~a. filed with the citiy cle~?~S for more thin 15 days prior to ghe assessment
hearing a.nd was open to public inspection during said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessor
meet,
3a That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their
objections, if any to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said
public heari~.
4® That the city council has heretofore du ly established City Project No. 54b
a.nd after c~~refully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece or
parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determined
and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in
said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said
City Project No. 546 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out
in said proposed assessment roil opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land.
6. Said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified by
the city cierlc and filed in this office, and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said storm sewer construction, City Project No, 5460
5. ~'rie proposed total assessment in the amount of $5805,23 is hereby affirmed,
adoprded and confirmed and the sum fixed and named in said proposed, assessment are
affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said
latss pieces, or parcels of land respectively and said amount so set out is hereby
levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described.
7e The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien ,upon the property included
therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual instalim
manta extending over a period of 20 years, The first instalimen t shall be payable on
the first Monday in January of 1368, Ail assessments shall bear interest at the rate
of 6~o per annumo To the first installment small be added interest on the entire
assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1968, to each subse-~
quent installment shall be added interest for one year on all ua~paid installments.
All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid over in the same
manner as other municipal ta.~ces.
