RBSOLU~TION ADOPTYNG AS'SPSSMBNT ON CITY PROJBCT N04 540
BB IT RP~LVED by the city council of the City of Richf field, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as follows:
la That the city clerk has, with the assistance of the city engineer, calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for the cons truction of City Project No, 540,
consisting of the Annual Street Improvement and Oiling Program for the year 19668
against every assessable lot, pieces and parcel of land specially benefited thereby
in accordance with the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so made up was
filed with the city clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and
was open to public inspection at ail times during said period,
2e That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed
assessments
3, That an opportunity has been given to ail interested persons to present their
objections, if .any to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said
public hearing,
4m That the city council has heretofore duly established City Project Nop 540 and
after carefullq considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece, or
parcel: of lands and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determined
and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in
said proposed assessment roil was improved by reason of the cons truction of said
City Project Noe 540 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out
in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such tote pieces or parcel of land,
5a The proposed total assessment in the amount of $116,937,54 is hereby affirmed,
adopteds and conf firmed, and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are
affirmed, adopted, and confirmied as the proper speciax assessment for each of said
lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby
levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, br parcels of land therein

6e Said assessment so affirmede adopted, and confirmed shall be certified by the
city clerk and filed in his offices and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said 1966 Annual Street improvement and Oiling Program,
City Project Noe 540,
7e Tlae amount assessed against each iota pieces or parcel of land shall bear firm
terest from the date hereof until the same has been paid at the rate of 0% per annuaa
8o That such assessment shall be payable in one annual installment payable on
the first day of January to be collected with taxes collectible during the said
year by the County Auditor.
