That the city clerk has, with the assistance of the city engineer, calculated the pr®per. am®unts to be assessed for the construction of stormy sewer,. City Pro3ect No.. 527.agairist every assessable lot, piece, or~~parcei of land specially benefited thereby in accordance r~ith the provisions of lawQ and the proposed assessment so madt up was filed with the-city clerk for more than 15 days prior to the ass=essment hearing and was open-to public inspection during said. period. 2. That notice has been duly published and a publ3.c hearing heretofore duly held as required by law so that this council could. meet and pass upon the proposed asses meet, 3.~ ~ That an opportutaity.,,has been given to a11'interested persons to p;went their ob3e~tions, if ,any 'to such proposed ass~es.sment or to any item thereof at said public hearing. 4. That the city .council has. heretofore duly established City Pro3ect No. 527 and after carefrally considering ail. the facts., the benefits to each 1©t, piece or parcex of land and fully advising itself in_the premises, has found and determined and hereby declares that .each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said .proposed assessment roil was improved bar,reason of the construction of said Gitq.Pro3ect No, 527 and_has been and.is.speciaiiy benefited in the am®unt set ®ut in said proposed assessment roil opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land. The proposed total assessment in the amount.of $980„12 is hereby affirmed,. adopted and .c®nf firmed and the sums . f reed and named in said proposed assessment are affir~ede adopted and. ca~nfirmed as. the ,proper special assessment for each .of said lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectieeely, and said amount sm-set out is hereby letiied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described. 6. Said as~ssment is hereby .affirmed, adopted, conf firmed and shall be certified by the ctq~' clerk and filed in his. office, and shall thereupon be and constitute the special assessment for said storm. sewer construction, City Project No. 527.. 7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included thereins concurrent with general takes, and shall be payable in equal annual instaii- ments e~tendira~.over a period of 20-yearso-- The first installment shall be payable on the first Mondaq in January of .19670 All assessments shall bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum, To the first installment .shall be added interest on the entire assessment fr®m the date of this resolution until December 31, 1967, to each subse- quetxt installment shall be added. interest for one. year on all unpaid installments.
