1966-3680r~~~ RESOLUTION NO, 3680 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON CITY PROJ.~CT NO. 536 BE IT RESOLVED by the city c ounci 1 of the City of Richf fie ld , Hennepin County, Minnes©ta, as follows: . 1. That the city clerk has, with the assistance of the city engineer, calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of street lighting system, City Project No. 536, against every ass~ssabie lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benefited thereby in accordance with the provisions of law, and the.pro- posed assessment so made up was filed with the city clerk for more than 15 days prier to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection at ail times during said period. ' 20 That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofmre duly held as required by law s® that this council could meet and passi upon the prop®sed assessmento 3, That an opportunity has been given to all interested pers©ns to present their objections, if any, t® such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said pub 1 is hearing . 4o That the city c®uncii has heretofore duly established City Project No 536, and after carefully considering alI the facts, tYie benefits to each lot, piece ®r . parcei~of land and fully advising itself in the .,premises, has found and determined and hereby declares that each and evesy.iot, piece, mr parcel of land included ip said propos ed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said City Project No. 536, and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed assessment roll. opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land. So The proposed total assessment in the amount of $27,529037 is hereby affirmed, adopted, and conf armed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lot s9 pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, ©r parcels of land therein describedo 6, Said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified by the citq clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and cons ti tote the special as~essmen t for said street lighting system construe tion, City Project N©, 536. 7o The as~ssment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included therein, c®ncurrent with general taxes, and shall be pagbie in equal annual install- ments extending over a period of 20 years, The first installment shall be payable on the first Monday in January of 1967. Ail assessments shaii bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum. To the first installment shaii be added interest on the entire assessment fr©m the date of this resolution until December 31, 1967a To each subse- quent installment shaii be added interest for one year on ail unpaid instalimentso Ali assessments and interest thereon shaii be collected and paid-over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
