1966-3679r~. ®~ RB60LUTION NO, 3679 RII50LUTION ADOPTING A55BSSMBNT ON CITY PROJECT NOS, 519 & 528 BE IT RESOLVED by. the city council i~f the City of Richfield, Hennepin C9unty., Minnesota, as fo liows: 1, That the city clerk has, with the assistance.of .the city engineer, caicu lated the-proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of curb and gutted, City. Project Nfl, 519 & 526 against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land speci~ ally benefited thereby in a&cordance with the pr©visi®ns of law, and the proposed assessment so made up was filed with the city clerk for, more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and was ®pen ~ public inspection during said period. 2, .That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment, 3, That ast opp®rtunity has been given to ail interested persons to present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said.' public hearing.. 4. That the city Eouncil has heretofore duly established City Pr©ject No. 519 & 526, and after carefu 11y consid ering.al 1 the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece or parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and deter mined and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel mf land in- cluded in said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction ~of said City Project No. 519 & 526, and has been and_is specially benefited in the a~aunt set out in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of i.and, 5, . The. prope~,sed total assessment in the. amount of $22s211,59 is hereby affired, .adapted and c{anfirmed and the sums fined and named in said proposed assessment are affirmeiip adopted and confirmed ag the proper special assessment f®r each of said lots, paieces, or parcels of land respectivelya and Said amount s® set out is hereby iev~;ed; against each of the respective lots, pieces; or parcels of land therein described, 6, Said as.~:essment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified by the city clerk .and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and const3.tute the speci~.l, assessment for said curb and gutter ~cor~ truction, City Project No, 519 & 526, ?. .The asgs~essment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included therein® ~~ncur rent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual installm menu e~ctending over a period of 1D years, The first ins taliment shall be payable on the fir st, Monday in January of 196°x, A11 assessments shah bear interest at the. rate of 6,~o per ann~rm. T® the first installment shall be added interest on the enm tire .ass`e.3sment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 196?, . To each subsequen°t installment shall be added interest for one year on ail unpaid. instaii~ men ts, X11 assessments and interest thereon shah be collected and paid-over in the same manner a.~; other municipal taxes.
