RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF LOTS - VICIMTY
OF RICHFIELD LAKE:
BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield: Minnesota as
follows
~,. It 3~s hereby determined that the following described lots a.n the City
of Richfield9 County of Hennepin' State of Minnesota9 now owned by the
City of Richfield9 are no longer needed for city purposes9 to-wits
Lots 9 and 119 except the north 17 feet thereof' Block ~9
Ray's L~~nhurst 2nd Addition9
and
Lots ~9 69 ?s 89 99 l0 and 119 Block 29 Rayts Lynnhurst
Addition9 except any part thereof heretofore taken for highway
purposes.
2. Proposed earnest money contracts with Earl DuFresne for; the purchas®
of such. lots are hereby given Clerks File No.~s C-72311 and C-?23~'
and are ordered to be placed ®n filed
~, Tt is hereby determined that such proposed contracts provide a fair
and reasonable basis for the sale of such lots to said Earl DuFresne.9
and the city mayor and manager are hereby authorized and d3sected to execute such
contracts on behalf of the city.
4. The mayor9 manager and members of the admin3.strative staff are hereby
authorized and directed to take such other and further steps as may be
necessary to give effect to the provisioa~ of such agreements.
y, The proceeds from the sale of such lots shall be used only for the
purchase of park property for the city. Until suoh proceeds are need
fox° that purposes they shall be set aside in a separate account and shall be
used for no other purposed but such proceeds may be invested and reinvested in
authorized municipal. investments until they can be applied toward the pr~chase
of park pra~perty.
6. This resolution shall. be effective upon the effective date of Ordinance
N®. 15.Q3.
