RESOLUTION NO. 3508
RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON CITY PROJECT N0. 514
,RE iT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richf field, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as follows::
1. That the city clerk has, with the assistance of the city engineex, calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for the grading of street, City Project No. 514 '
against every as~essabie lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benefited thereby
in accordance with the, provision of law, and, the proposed assessment so made up was•
filed with the city clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing
and was open to public inspection at all t3,~mes during said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assess-

3. That an opportunity has been given t~~ ail interested persons to present their ob-
jections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
4. That the city eouncii has heretofore duly established City Project No. 514, and
after carefully considering ail the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece or parcel
of land and fully advising itself in r+the premises, .has found and determined and hereby
declares that each and every ,lot, pie ce, or parcel of land included in said proposed
assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said City Project No.
514 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed
assessment roil opposite each such 'lot, piece or parcel o~ land.
5. The proposed total assessment in the amount of $3,652.92 is hereby affirmed,
adopted, and canfirmed and the earns fixed and named in said proposed assessment are
affirmed, adopted and conf firmed a,s the proper special assessment for each of said lots,
pieces, or parcels of land respe~~tively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective ]~.ots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described.
6• ~a~d ass'essment is hereby a~fffirmed, adopted, conf armed and shall be certified by
the city clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said s~creet grading, City Project No. 514.
7. The assessment with accrixing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included
'~her~:in, concurrent with general taxes, and shall. be payable in equal annual.install-
ments extending over a pex'~od of. 20 years. The first installment shall be payable on
the first Dionday in January of 1966. All assessments shall bear interest at the rate
of ~"' per annum. Tb the f.'.irst installment shall be added interest on the entire
assessment from the date e,f this resolution until December 31, 1966, To each subse-
quent installment shall b%e added interest for one year on al]: unpaid installments.
Ali assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over in the same
manner as other municip~,~l taxes.
