RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON CITY PROJECT NO. 50$,.~508t~

BS IT RBSOLVED by the city council of the Citq of Richfield, Hennepin County,
Minnesota,. as foilows~s
1, That the city clerk has, with the assistance of the city enginee~~t~ calculated
the proper amounts to be assess~~l for the construction of street iigh~:i_~g systeffi,
City P~~o.~ect No. 508, 508. against every as~ess~.bie lot, piece, or parcel of land
specialty benef iced thereby in accordance with the provisions of maw, and the pro-
posed assessment so made up was filed with the city clerk for.. mere .than IS days
prior. to the as~ess~aent hearing and was open to public inspection at all times dur-
ing said period.
2. That notice has; been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held asp
required by law so that this council .could meet and ,pass upon the .proposed as~ssment.
3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their ob-
jections, if any,~to such proposed assessme nt or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
4. That the city .council has heretofore duly established, City Project No. 508, 508A,
and after carefuiiq considering all the facts, the benefits. to each lot, piece or
parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premises, has .found and determined and
hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said pro-
posed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of sa~.d City Project
No. 508, 508~i and has been and is specially benef ited in the amount set out in said
proposed assessment roll opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land,
5. The proposed total assessment in the amount of $38,093.77 is hereby affirmed,
adopted, and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are
affirmed, adopted and conf firmed as the proper special assessment for each of ~~?.~1 iota,
pieces, or parcels of land respectivelq, and said amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein describeda
6„ Said ass~cssment is hereby affirmed, adopted, conf firmed and shalt be certif led by
the city clerk and filed in his off ice, atxt shall thereupon be and constitute the
special' assessment for said street lighting system construction, City Project No, 508, 508Aho

7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall. be ~. ].ten gpon the property included
therein, concurrent with general taxes, .and shall be payable, in equal annual install-
ments extending over a period of 20 years, The first instaliaient shall be payable on
the first Monday in January_of 1966p A 11 assessments shall bear interest at the rate
of 6°Io per .annum. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire
assessment from the date of this resolution until. December 31, 1966, To each subse-
quent installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
All assessments and interest thereon shaii.be collected and paid-over in the same
manner as other municipal taxes,
