RBSOLi1TION ADOPTING A35ESSINBNT OF CITY PROJECT NO. 5098

2,~~That notice has been duly pub lish~d and a public hearing heretofore duly held as
re2~ii.r.ed by la.w so that this council conic meet and pass upon the proposed assessment,
--3.~ That an opportunity. has been given to all interested person. to present their ob~
:.~,gctions., if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public

4,._.That the city council has heretofore duly established City Project No. 5098 and
aster,::carefully considering all the f actsR the benef its to each lots piece o.~ parcel
of ` a.nd and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determined and hereby
declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said proposed
assessment roil was improved by reason of the construction of said City Project No.
5b9B_and has been and is specially benefited in-the amount set out in said proposed
assessment roil opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land.
S,. _ 'I'he proposed total assessment in the .amount of $351.30 is hereby affirmed, adopted,
and conf armed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed,
adopted .and conf armed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, .piecesfl
or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby lev3;ed against
each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described.
6,,:,,.,laid assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified by
t:~e City clerk and filed in his off ice, and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said sidewalk construction, City Project Nom 5098,
?._ The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included
therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shah be payable in equal annual installm
meets exteri.cling over a period of one year, the first installment shah be payable on
the f=irst Monday in January of 1966e Ali assessments shall bear interest at the rate
of 6% per annume To the first installment shah be added interest on the entire
assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1966. To each subse
quent installment shah be added interest for one 'year on ail unpaid installments.
Ali assessments and interest thereon shall b e collected and paid over in the same
manner as other municipal taxes.
