1965-3500r~~~ RESOLUTION NQ. 3500 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A~SSMENT OF CITi' PROJECT N(~. 509A, 509C, 509D, 509E, 509F, 509G BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richf ieid, Hennepin Countq, Minne- sota, as follows-: - 1, That the citq clerk has, with the assistance of the city engineer, calculated the proper amounts to be~ assessed for the sidewalk construction, City Pr©ject Nos, 5Q9~, 509C, 509D, 509E, 509F, 509G, against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benef itect thereby in accordance with the provisions of-law and the proposed assessment so made up was flied with the citq clerk for more .than 15 dags~.prior to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection during said period. Z. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as required bq law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed asscess~aent. 3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their ob- jections~ if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public hearing. 4. That the city council has heretofore duly established City Project Nos, 509A, 5090, 509D, 5098, 509F, 509G and after carefully considering all the facts, the bene- f its to each lot, piece or parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determined arxi. hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said proposed assessment roil was improved by reason of the construe-~ tion of said Citq Project No, 509A, 509C, 509D, 509E, 509F, 509E and has been and is specially benef ited in the amount set out in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land, 5, The proposed total assessment in the amount of $13,609,?3 is hereby affirmed, adopted, and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said. proposed assessments are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or paresis of land therein described, 6. Said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, conf armed and shall be certif led by the city clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute :the special assessment for said sidewalk construction, City Project No. 509A, 509C, 509D, 5098, 509F, 509G. ?. The assressment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual instali- menu extending over ~ a ,period of 5 years, the first installment shall~~be payable on the first Monday in January of 1966, All ass:essmen is shall bear interest at the rate of 6%.per annum, To the first instalLaent shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1966. To each subse- quent installment shall be added interest for one year on ail unpaid installments, Ail assfessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over in the same manner as other municipal taxes, Passed by the council of the City of Richfield this 27th day of September, 1965.
