D~HBREAS, an act relating to the Police~en•s Relief Assncia~tion~ and the
Policemen's Pension Fund of the City 0f Richf field was passed in the 1965 Legis-
lative Session, which act is designated as the.. Laws sf 1965, Chaptor 458, and
WHBRBAS, such act is a special law which, by 'its terms, _requires_ that
it shall be effective only after its approval by a ma3ority of ~~e governing
body of the City of Richf field, and upon compliance with the provisions of Minne-
sota Statutes, Section b45o021, and
WHBRBAS', it appears to this council to be ih:the best atnterest of the
City of Richfield, its residents` and taxpayexs,, thatswch i~w be .made effective
by approval of the City Council of the City of Richf~,ld; .
