1965-3407r~_~~ RESOLUTION NO. 3407 RESOLUTION AUZHORIZING OPTION AGREBMEN3' - FRANCE AVIIVUB PROPERTY - BLOQMINJTON BB IT RBSOLVBD by the City Council of the City of Richf ieid, Minnesota, as follows: 1. Zt is hereby determined that the property hereinafter described, now owned by the city, is no longer needed for public purposes by the City of Richf ieid, such property being in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, and legally described as follows, to-wit: That part of the Northwest Quarter CNW~) of the Southwest Quarter CSW~?, of Section Five C5), Township Twenty-seven C27), Range 'I'wenty- four C24), within the following described boundaries: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section Five, thence East along the North _ Boundary line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section Five, a distance of Nine Hundred and Ninety C990) feet, thence South and parallel with the East Boundary line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section Pive, a distance of four Hundred Forty (440) feet, thence West and parallel with the North Boundary line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section Five, a distance of Nine Hundred and Ninety C990~ feet, thence North along the West Boundary line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section Pive, a distance of Four Hundred Forty C440) feet, to the point of beginning, containing ten Cl0) acres more or less, according to the Government Survey thereof. 2. A proposed agreement between Northwest Unit Investment Company, a co® partnership, and the City of Richf ieid, entitled t9Pu~rchase AgreementQ9, dated April 12, 1965, providing for the sale of such property by the city to such partnership, upon certain contingencies, is hereby given Clerks Pile No. and ordered to be placed on file. 3. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public health, safety, convenience, prosperity and general welfare for the City of Richf ieid to enter into such agreement; such agreement is hereby approved; and the mayor and manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the city. 4. The mayor, manager and attorney are hereby authorized and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to give effect to the provisions of such agreement on behalf of the City of Richf field.
