RESOLUTION N0. 3335
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING APPEAL TO DISTRICT COURT IN
THE MATTER OF GBNERAL HOSPITAL BUIIGBT AND TAX LEVY POR 1965
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesotan Laws of 1963, Chapter 738, the Village of
Richf field, and certain other towns and municipalities in Hennepin County,
requested the Board of Commissioners of Hennepin County to conduct a hearing
to review the determinations made by it•~in the 1965 budget for General Hospi-
tal, and
Wf~REA3, such hearing was held on November 17, 1964, and
WHEREA~Sti the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County has, since
such hearings adopted a resolution taking final action on the 1965 budget for
General'Hospitai, thereby making a determination of the issues raised at such
hearings and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable for the Village of Richfield
to appeal to the District Court from such final resolution;
NOW,'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council .of the Village of
Richf field, as follows:
1. I•t is hereby determined to appeal from the final re~lution of the
Board of Commissioners of Hennepin County, passed November 17, 1964, relating
to the budget of General Hospital.
2. Such appeal shall be made pursuant to Minnesota ]Craws of 1963, Chapter
738, on the grounds that the budget approved in such final resolution was not
prepared, items of expense were not allocated, anct tax levies to be made pursu=
ant thereto were not determined in accordance with applicable law.
3. Such appeal may be brought by and on behalf of this municipality alone
or in con3unction with other towns or municipalities in Hennepin County.
Passed by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield this 23rd day
of November, 1964.
