RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF MUNT~TPAL LIQUOR
STORE PROPERTY' AND PUROHA,SE OF PROPERTY AS SITE
FOR NEGJ LIQUOR STORE
BE TT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield as
follower
].• It is hereby determined. to be n®oessax~r and exp®cl~.ent to the
public health, conveniences prosperity and general welfare to sell the
existing ~rndale .venue Liquor Store property and to burr a new site for
such store.
2. .A proposed agreement provid~x~,g for the sale of the ex~.st3ng
Lyndale Avenue Liquor Store is hereby given clerkes f~.e No. 7319' and
is hereby ordered to be placed on file, The vil.1.age manager and mayor
are hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement for and on
'behalf of the Village of R~.chf~.®ld, and the village admini.strat3.ve staff
is hereby authorized and directed to take such further action as is
necessax~r to give effect to the provisions of such sales agreement.
3• A proposed agreement to buy a new site for a Lyndale Avenue
Liquor Store (at 65th Street and Lyndale Avenue) is hereby given clerks
file No, 73199 and is ordered to be placed on file, The v3.llage manager
and mayor are hereby authorized and directed to execute such afireement
for and on behalf of the Village of Richfield, and the village adminis-
trat%e staff is h®reby authorized and directed to take suoh furth®r
action as is necessary to give effect to the pro~.sions of such agreement.
~o .ill -sums payable toward the purchase price of such new liquor
store site shall be paid. out of the Depreciation Reser~ account of the
Swimming Pool fund and the Deprec3~ation Res® account of the Liquor
fund and from other monies of the ?13.quor Stores fund, _
,~• The proceeds of the sale of the existing Ty~mdale Avenue Liquor
Stone property shall be paid rota the New Construction Reser°ae account of
the L3.quor Stores fund.
6e The amounts used to pay the purchase price shall be restored
when earnialgs of the mur~capal liquor stores peranit this to b® donne
