RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECONVEYANCE,OF LAND TO INDEPENDENT
SCHOOL DISTRICT No. 280
wH~REAS~ prior to September 108 199 Independent School District No. 280
(Richfield) was the owner of the following described property in the Village of
Richfield County of Hennepins State of Minnesotan
The West 325.3 feet of that part of the Northeast Quarte~°
(NE 1/1~) of the Northwest Quarter (NW ~/~.) of Section 35s
Township 28 Norths Range 21~ West of the Fourth Pr3.ncipal
Meridian lying north of Zuberts Elliot Avenue Additions
except the North. 660 feet'thereofs according to the U. 5'.
Government Survey thereof

WHEREASs Independent School District Non 280 conveyed said property'to
the Village of Richfield by a deed dated the 10th day ®f Septembers 1959s and
WHEREAS, such deed of conveyance was given pursuant to the provisions of
Minnesota Statutes' Section 165.035, so a'~at the property could be used for
park and playground purposes with the proviso that whenever the property was
no Longer needed for such purposes the grantee should reconvey the same to the
grantors and
WHEREA~s it now appears that such property is no longer needed for park
and playground purposes and wall not be needed or used by the Village of
Richfield for such purposes in the futures
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Vil~.age of
Richfields as followed
1. That the property hereinabove described shall~be reconvey®d by the
Village o~ Richfield to Independent School Distract Nod 280.
2. That it is hereby determined that suoh property is no losiger needed
for park and playground purposes or for any other v3.llage purposed
3. That the mayors manager and clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the reconveyance of said property in accordance with the prov3.sions
of this resolution.
Passed by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield this 10th day
of Augusts 194.
