RESOLUTION NO. 3264
RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON VILLAGE PROJECT N0. 471
BE IT RESOLVED by the village council of the Village of Richfielda Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the village clerk has, with the assistance of the village engineer, calcup
fated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of Village Project No.
l~7i~; consisting of the Annual Street Improvement and Oiling Program for the year
1963, against every assessable lot, piece, and parcel of land specially benefited
thereby in accordance with the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so
made up was filed with the village clerk for more than l5 days prior to the assessor
meat hearing and was open to public inspection at all times during said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required by J..aw so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assess
ment.
3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their'
objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or•to any item thereof at said
public hearing.
~.. ~~ha'~ the village council has heretofore duly established Village Project No.
l~71~ and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece,
or parcel of land, and fully advising, itself i.n the premises, has found and deter-~
mined and hereby declares that each and every lots piece, or parcel of land included
in said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said
Village Project No. ~.7l~ and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set
out in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such. lot, piece, or parcel of
land.
5e The proposed total assessment in the amount of X17.6,262.03 is hereby affirmed9
adopted, and confirmed, and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are
affirmed, adopted, and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said
lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby
levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein
described.
6. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted, and confirmed shall be certified by the
village clerk and filed in his office, and .shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said 1963 ,Annual Street Improvement and Oiling Program,
Village Project No. l~7L4.
7. The amount assessed against each lot, piece, or parcel of land shall bear in-
terest from the date hereof until the same has been paid at the rate of 0 per annumo
8. That such assessments shall be payable in one annual installment payable on
the f3sst day of January to be collected with taxes collectible during the said
year by the Bounty Auditor.
