RESOLUTION REIA TYNG TO COUNTY PARK ACQUISITION IN THS
HYLAIVD PARK~ANDBRSON LAKB ARBA:
BE TT RBSOLVBD by the village council of the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. This council respectfully urges the Board of Park Commissioners

of the Hennepin County Park Reserve District to give consideration to
providing additional park facilities in the Bloomington Eden Prairie area,
to serve the large population of the south and southwest portions. of
Hennep~.n County, it appearing to this council that the present Hyland Park
area will not be adequate to serve the population of this portion of the
county.
2, This council respectfully recommends to the Board of Park Commism
sinners that consideration be given to the acquisition of the Anderson
Lake area, adjacent to Hyland Ps.rk, to provide such additional f acilities,
