WHFREASs the Richfield Planning Commission is operating on the pro~»
vl.sions of Resolution No. 2955 of this councils passed on T'®bruary 11s 19638
and
WHE,REA3~s the ne®d exists to maintain such Commission as anon-political
organisation so that its deliberations and r®commendations will not b®
impuned on the ground that any member or members are using the Planning
Commission as a vehicle for expressing political views or advancing th®ir
own political Deus®ss
NO~Ts THEREFORE9 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Richfield' ad follows$
Paragraph two (2) of Resolution No. 2955 of this council9 is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following paragraphs
to--with
~~Any member of the Commission who becomes a candidate
for any elected public offices whether local or other®
wises automatically ceases to be a member of the
Commission. A:n4y member off' the Commission who is abut
to become a candidate for ?ny such elected public office
is requested to resign from the Commission before bem
coming a candidateeP.
