RESOLUTION Nos 3147
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTII~ APPEAL TO DISTRICT COURT'
TN THE MATTER OF GENERAL HOSPITAL BUDGET AND TAX LEVY FOR 19b9~,
WHEREASe pursuant to Minnesota Laws of ]9638 Chapter 7388 the Village of
Richfield and. other towns and municipalities in Hennepin County requested the
Board of Commissioners of Hennepin County to conduct a hearing to review th®'
determinations previously made by it in the 1961 budget for General Hospitals
and
WHEREASe such hearing was duly held on November 188 19639 and

TrIHEREA58 on November 268 ].963 the Board of Commissioners of Hennepini Courxty~
adopted a resolution taking final action on the 1961 budget for General Hospital9
thereby making a determination of the issues raised at such hearirig9 and
WHEREASe it appears necessary and desirable for the Village of Richfield to
appeal to the district court from such final resolution9
NOW THEREFOR,Ee BE TT RESOLVED by the_Village Council of the Village of
Richfield as follows
1, It is hereby determined to appeal from the fine], resolution of the
Board of Commissioners of Hennr~pin County9 passed November 268 19638 relating to
th® budget of General Hospita?.p
2, Such appeal shall be ~.ade pursuant to Minnesota Laws of 19638 Chapter
7388 on the grounds that the budget approved in such fine]. resolution was not
preparede items of expense were not allocatede and tax levies to be made pur®
saint thereto were not determined8 in accordance with applicable law,
3. Clayton Lo LeFevere is hereby designated to act as attorney for the
village in the presentation of such appeale
