RESOLUTION ADOPTIAO ASSESSMBNT `~ VILLAGE PROJECT N0. 444
HE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfieids Hennepin Countys
Minnesotan as foilows~e
1. That the village clerk hasp with the assistance of the village engineers calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for the sidewalk constructions Village Pro3, No, 444
against every assessable lots pieces or parcel of land specially benefited thereby
in accordance with the provisions of laws and~the proposed assessment so made up way
filed with the village clerk for more than 9.5 days prior to the assessment hearing and
was open to public inspection during said~period~, ~,
2, That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as
required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment,
3, That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their ob®
3ectionss if anys to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof_a:.t said public
hearing.
4. That the village council has heretofore duly established.Vi1]a ge Pro,~s Noe 444
and a;f~er carefully considering all the facts the benef its to each. lots piece or
parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premises has found and determined ancb
hereby declares that each and every lot, pieces or parcel of land included in said pro®
posed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Prod.
No. 444 and has been and is specially benef ited in the amount sit out in said proposed
assessment roil opposite each such lots piece or parcel of land,
So The proposed total assessment in the amount of $33n832m10 is hereby aff irmeds
adopted, and conf armed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed. assessment are
aff irmeds adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots
pieces,. or parcels of land respectivelyn and said amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective lots pieces or parcels o~' land therein described,
6, Said assessment is hereby aff irmedn adopteds conf armed and shale be certified by
the village clerk and filed in leis off ices and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said sidewalk constructions Village Pro3, No. 4440
7e The assessment with accruing interests shall be a lien upon the property included
the reins concurrent with gene ral taxes and shall be payable .in equal annual instalim
meats eaetending over a period of ~ years, The first insta-lament shall be payable oar
the first Monday in January of 19640 Ail assessments shall bear interest at the rate
of 6%-per annumm To the first inst~.llment shall be added interest on the entire
assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31s 1964; To each subsem
quent installment shall be added interest for one year oti all unpaid installments,
all assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid®over in the same
manner as other municipal taxes,
