RESOLUTION.ADOPTTNG ASSESSMENT ON VILLAGE PROJECT N0. 436
RE TT RESOLVED by the Vi13.aga Council of the Village of Richfield9 Hennepin County9
Nlinnasota9 as follows
1. That the village clerk base with the assistance of the village engineer9 calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of curb and gutters Village
Fro~act No. t~36, against every assassabla lot9 piesa9 or parcel of land specially
b®n®fited thereby in accordano® with the provisions of law8 and th® propos®d assess-
ment so made up was filed with the village clerk for more than 1.5 days prior to the
ass®ssm®nt heariaag and was op®n to publio insp®ation during said per3.od.
2. That notice has bean duly published and a publio hearing heretofore duly bald as
r®quired by law so that this oouncil could m®®t and phss upon the proposed assessment.
3. That an opportunity has bean given to all interested persons to present th®ir
ob3ections9 if ariy9 to such proposed assassm®nt or to any it®m thereof at said public
haaz~.ngs
D~. That the village oounci3. has heretofore duly established Village Project No. i~36
and after carefully oonsidering all the facts9 the benefits to each 1ot9 piece or
parcel of land and fully advising itself' in the premises9 has found and determined and
h~raby declares that each and ®v®ry lote pies®9 or paroel of end included in said pro-
possd ass®ssm®nt roll was improved by reason of the construction of said V~.llag® Pro-
3act No. 436 and has 'been and is speoially benefited in the amount set out in said
- - proposed ass®ssm®nt roll opposite ®aoh suoh lot9 pieo® or paroel, of land.
~. TYia proposed total assessment in the amount of ~219563.1l~ is h®r®by affix~ned9 adopt®d~
and confirm®d and the sums fix®d and named in said proposed assessment are affirmeds
adopted and oonfirm®d as the prop®r sp®oial assassm®nt for each of said lots9 pi®ces9 or
paroals of land respectively9 and said-amount so set-out is hereby levied against each
of the r~spactive lots9 pieces9 or parcels of land therein described.
6o Said assessment is hereby affirmed9 adopted confirmed and shall be certified by
the village cleric and filed in his offioe9 and shall thereupon be and constitute th®
spacial ass®ssment for said curb and gutter constructions Village Project No. l~36.
7. The assessment with accruing interest9 shall ba a lien upon the property included
ther~,ine concurrent with general taxese and shall ba payable in equal annual install-
ments extending over a pe~°i~ad of lO years. The first installment shall be payable on
the first Nlond~y in January of 19b4. All assessments sha11 bear interest at the rata
of 6~ par annum. To the first installment shall ba added interest on the entire
assessment from the data of this resolution until December 31s~1964. To eaoh subse-
quent installm®nt shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installm®nts.
