RESOLUTION A~PTI1~ ASSBSSMBNr ON VII.?.AGB PRCJBCT NO.. 4458 & 4450
BE "XT~RE~OLVBD by the village council of the Village of Richfield,. Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as f oliows:
1. ~ ~ That the village clerk has, with the assistance of the vfilage engineer, talcum
laced'the p"raper amounts to be assessed for the grading of sheet, Village Pro3ect
~~ No. 445B & 445C against every ass~essabie lot, piece, or p~rcei of land specially
benefited~~thereby in accordance with the provision of ~;aw, and the proposed assess
went so made up vas filed with the village clerk for snore than 15 days prior'to
the. asaess3nent hearing and was .open to public inspection a t all times during said
period. ~ .
Z. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
a.s required by law so that this council could meet and pass: upon the proposed assessment.
3. That'an oppottunity has been given to all interested persons to present their ob=
Sections, if any, to such proposed as~ssment or to any -item thereof at said public
hearing.
4. ~Th~.t the village council has heretofore duly established Village"ProSect No: 445B
445C; and aftter. c:erefully considering ail the fact's, the belief its to teach lot, piece
br ~parcei of ishd and fully advising itself ' in .the' premises, has found =and determined
and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in
said proposed assessment rol~;was.improved by. reason of the construction of said
Village PraSect No. 445B & 445C and.has been and is specially b~nelEitncl_in the amount.
set out in said proposed assessment roi]! opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of
land.
5. The proposed total assessment in the amount of $7,840,64 is hereby affirmed,
adopted,'and conf firmed and the sums freed and named in said proposed ass~semen~ are
affirmed, adopted~~and confirmed as• the proper special asse~"sment for each of paid lots,
.pieces, or parcels of land respe~tiirely~ and said amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described.
6. Raid assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall becertified by
the village clerk and filed in his off ice,"and sha.li thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said street grading4 Village..ProSect No. 4458_& 4450.
7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the propertq included
therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual instali®
ments extending over a period of 20 years, The first installment shall be payable•
on the.'first .Monday, in Jarnxary of 1964. Ali assessments shall be~.r inte_ rest at the
..rate oft 6~ per annum. To the first ~nstaiiment shall be added interest on the entire
assessment-from the date of -this resolution until December 31, 1964, To teach subse~
quent installment shall be added interest for one gemr ®n all unpaid installments.
~11•assessments and interest, tk~ereon shall be collected and paid over in Mae same
manner as other municipall taxes. ~ _
