RBSOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASB OF OPTION AMID =~
BASEMENT - 64TH AND OARLANf~ ~,,.~
BB IT RESOLVED by the village council of the Village of Richf field, Minnesota,
as follows:.
1. Yt is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public
health, safety, convenience,. prosperity and general welfare to ac-
quire the f oilowing described property to-wit::
The east 990 feet of the following described tract of land,. to wit:
That part of the west 1/2 of the northwest quarter of Section. 26,
Township 28 North, Range 24 West, described as follows: Beginning at
the west quarter corner of Section 26; thence north along. the westerly
boundary line of said Section a distance of 1315.25 feet, thence north
along the west line of said section a distance of 90 feet; thence east
parallel with the east and west center line of said section 1279,24 .feet,
more or less, to the north and south center line of the NW'~ of said
Section 26; thence south along the north and south center line of the
N~1'~; of said Section 90 feet, more or less, to a Judicial Landmark; thence
westerly a distance of 319,81 feet to a Judicial Landmark; thence westerly
959.43 feet more or less, to the point of beginning.
. 2. The owner of said property has offered to convey an easement over the
westerly 60 feet thereof for the sum of $850 and having also agreed to
give the village an option to purchase the whole thereof for the sum of an ad-
ditional. $1400.00 during the first 90 days of the year 1964, such offer is
hereby determined to be a fair and reasonable one and the same is hereby ac-
cepted.

3. The village mayor, manager, finance director and attorney are hereby
authorized and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to give
effect" to the provisions hereof, and to complete the acquisition of such ease-
ment and option as herein provided.
4. All sums payable pursuant to the provisions of th3.s resolution are
payable. from the Village Pro3ect No. 490 Construction Fund.
Passed by the village council of the Village of Richfield this 24th day
of June, 1963.
