RESOLUTION RELATING TO REDISTRICTING O~ HENNEPIN COUI~ITY
Tr1HEREAS, The Board of Courxty Commissioners has on November 27, 19629 by a
vote of 4 to 19 red3.s~ricted the County into new commissioner districts in a
manner which ~.gnares the view of a majority of municipal ~offieials aril m~n3.e3.pal
councils in N~hnepizl County9 and
T~IHERF~S, such redistricting was done in such a manner as to depr3.ve the
citizens9 of the county outside of the City of Minneapolis, of`_appropriat~e local,
representation ~n the County Bflard, and
~EREASm present laws are ix~.dequate to accomplish desirab3.e legislatioga on .
the County Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the village of
Richf~.eld9 as fmllows:
