RESOLUTION R$LA TINO TO APPOINTMENT OP PROCESS
SERVER OFFICERS
'G'1~IERF.AS, this village has abolished the office of constable as pro®
vided by law, and
WHEREAS, it is, therefore, necessary under ordinance No. 12.04 to
designate by resolution, persons to service civil process in this
village.
NOW TfIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVBD by the Village Council of the Village
of Richfield, Hennepin CoBnty, Minnesota, as follows:
1. Burton Reitan and Robert H. Eckstein, residents and police
officers of the Village of Richf ie ld, are hereby designated under
M.S. 412.1.61 L. 1957, Chap, 137, as the persons authorized to serve
civil processes in this village.
2. This designation shall be effective immediately and shall
c~ynt~.nue until January, 1964, and until their sucdessors are selected
and qualif led.
This resolution supersedes any prior motion of the council relating
to the app®intment of Process Server Officers.
Passed by the village council of the Village of Richfield this 14th
day of January, 1963.
