RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF THE S~ OF LOT 3, AND ALL OF
LOTS Icy 5, and 6, Block !~~ R. C. SOENtS ADDITION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD, HENNEFIN
COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOt~dSa
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to-the public
health, safety, convenience, prosperity and general welfare to acquire for a
street equipment site and other municipal purposes the following described
property in the Village of Richfield, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota,
described as follows, to-w:itti
S~ of Lot 3, and all of Lots 4, 5, and 6, Block ?~,
R. C. Soen~s Addition.
2. The owner of such premises having offered to sell the same to the
t1il~.ape of H~.chfield for the sum of Sixty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
(a69,K00.00), to be paid on or before December 3l, 1962, with possession
thereof to be deferred until May 15th, 1963, and with the Village being
eb7.igated to demolish the building now located on said premises, such offer
is hereby determined to be a fair and reasonable offer and the same is hereby
acceptede
3. The mayor' manager, finance director and attorney are hereby authorized
and directed to take such steps as may be necessax~r to complete the purchase
of said property at such purchase price pursuant to this resolution.
1~. All sums payable as a purchase price for such property shall be paid
o»t of tre public Works Reserve Fund.
