RESOLUTION AI~OPTINQ~ ASSESSMENT ON VILLAGE PRO~TEOT N0. 425
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village council of the Village of Richfield9 Iiennepin County9
Minnesota9 as follows$
1, That th® village clerk has9 with the assistance of the village engineer9 calculated
the pro er amounts to be assessed for the construction of storm sewer9 Village l'ro~ect
No. 1~25'p against every assessable lot9 piece9 or parcel of land specially benefited
thereby 3xa accordance with the provisions of law9 and the proposed assessment so made up
was filed with the village clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing
and was open to public inspection during said period.
2: That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as
required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment.
,3. That an opportunity has been g3.ven to all interested persons to present-their ob-
~ections9 if any9 to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
~.. That the village council has heretofore duly established Village Project No, ~~59
and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each 10$9 piece or
parcel of land and fully adeisirig itself in the premises9 has found and determined and
hereby declares that each and a very lot9 piece9 or parcel of land included iaa said pro-
posed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Pro3eet
No. 125 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed
assessment roll opposite each such lot9 piece or parcel of land.
5, The proposed total assessment in the amount of X1099203.59 is hereby affirm®dg
adopted, and confirmed and the auras fixed and named. ixi said proposed assessment are
affirmed9 adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots,
pi®cesS or parcels of land r®spectively9 and said amount so s®t out is her®by levied against
each of the respective lots, pieces9 or parcels of land therein described.
6. Said assessment is hereby affirmed9 adopted9 confirm®d and shall b® c®rtified~by
the vilel,age clerk and filed iri his office9 and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said storm sewer construction9 Village Fro~ect No. lt25.
7. The assessment with accruing anterest9 shall be a lien upon the property included
therein9 concurrent with general taxes9 and shall be payable in equal annual install-
ments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall ~ payable on
the first IKonday in ~'anuary of 1963. A11 assessments shall bear interest at the rate
®f 6~ per annunao To the first installment shall be added int®rest on th® entire assess-
ment.from the date of this resolution until 3Jecember 319 1963. To each subsequent in-
stallment shall be added inter®st for one year on all unpaid installments.

manner as other municipal taxes.
