RESOLUTION At1THORIZING PURCHASE OF SOUTH l/2 OF LOT 1, BLOCK 19
FAIRWOOD PARK
IT I5 HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD,
MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS•
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public
healthy safety' corr~enience and general welfare to acquire fvr a park and other
municipal purposes, -~.e follow3.ng described tract9 to wit:
South 1/2 of Lot 1~ B1ock 1~ Fairwood Park
2. The owner of said property having offered to sell. the same to the
village for the sum of $1,312,0, sub3ect to special assessments not yet due
and payable it is hereby determined that such offer is a fair and reasonable one
and the same is hereby accepted.
3. The Village Manager, Finance Director and Attorney are hereby authorized
to take such steps as may be necessary to complete the purchase of said property
in accordance with tth® terms of suoh offer.
I~.. The purchase price for said property shall be paid out of the Public
Works Reserve Fund®
Passed by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield, Minnesota, this
