RESOLUTION ~OPTIN(~ ~,SSESSMENT ON VIIeLAGE PROJECT N0. I~1.3
R'E IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfielde Rennepin Countye
Minnesotae as followsa
1. That the village clerk tease with the assistance of the village engineers calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of curb and gutters Villaga
Project No. It138 against every assessable lots pieces or parcel of land specially
benefited thereby in accordance with the provisions of laws and the proposed assess-
ment so made up was filed with- the village clerk for more than 15 days prior to the
assessment hearing and was open to public inspection during said period.
2, That notice has been duly publish®d and a public h®aring her®tofore duly held as
required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment.
3. That an opportuna.ty has been given to all interested persons to present their
ob~ectionss if anye to such proposed assesament or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
~. That the village council has heretofore duly established Village Project No. 113
and after carefully considering all the facts' the benefits to each lots piece or
parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premisese has found and det®rmin®d and
h®r®by declares that eaoh and every tote piece9 or parcel of land included in said pro-
posed assessment roll was improved by reason. of the construction of said Villag® Pro-
~ect No. l~13 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said
proposed ass®ssment roll opposite each such lots piece or parcel of land.
5. The proposed. total assessment in the amount of ~1880l~7.65 is hereby affirmede adopted'
and confirmed and the sums fiaced and named in said proposed ass®ssm®nt are a~firmede
adopted and oonfirm®d as th® proper special assessment for ®ach of said lotse pieoese or
pardels of land reapectivelys and said amount so set out is hereby levied against each
of the r~spectiv® lotss piecess or parcels of land therein described.
6, Said assessment is hereby affirmedsadopteCde confirmed and shall, be certified by
the village clerk and filed in his offices and shall thereupon b® and constitute the
special ass®ssment for said curb and gutt®r constructions Village Project No. 113.
°~. The assessment with accruing interests shall be a-lien upon the property includ®d
thereins concurrm~nt with general taxese and shall be payable in equal annual install-
ments extending ov®r a period of 10 years. Th® first installment shall be payable on
the first Monday in January of 1963. x,11 assessments shall bear interest at the rate
of 6~ per annum. To the first installment shall b® added interest on the entire
ass®ssment from tEne date of this resolution until December 318 1963. To eaoh subs®-
quent installment shall, be added inte~°®st for one year on all unpaid irista]elments.
X11 assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over in the same
manner as other municipal taxes.
