RB&OLUTIi~N AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF NORTH lit OP
LOT 4, BLOCK 1, FAIRWOOD PARK
BB IT RESC~LVBD by the Village Council of the Village of Richf field, Hennem
pin County, Minnesota, as follows:
1.~ Whereas the owners of the North lit of Lot 4, Block 1, Fairwood
Park have offered to sell the same to the village for the sum of $93?.50,
it is hereby determined necessary and expedient,to the public health,
safety, convenience, prosperity and generaIl welfare to acquire such pro=
perty for park ar~d other municipal purposes.
2. It is hereby determined that the sum of $937.50 is a fair and
reasonable. price to pay for such property and the offer of the owners of
such property to sell the same to the village for such price is hereby ac®
cepted, subject to furnishing of marketable'titie and the payment of all taxes
and assessments due and payable during the year 1962 or prior thereto.
3. The mayors manager, finance director and attorney are hereby
authorized and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to give
effect to the terms of this resolution and to comniete the purchase of
such property in accordance with the term, hereof.
Aii sums payable as purchase price for such property shall be paid
out of the Public Works Reserve Pund,
