RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON VILLAGE PROJECT N0. t~18
DE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfielde Ti®nnspin County9
Minnesotae as follows
1. .That the village clerk base with the assistance of the village engin®®r9 calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for ~e construction of water maine Village Pro3ect
No. 4188 against av®ry assessable lot9 piece9 or parcel of land specially benefited
thereby in accordance with the provisions of lave and the proposed assessment so made
up was filed with the village clerk for more than 15 days prior t~ the assessment
hearing and was open to public inspection during said periodo
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as
required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment.
3. That an opportunity has been giv®n to all int®rest®d persons to presea~t th®ir ob-
~ectionse if any9 to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
I~. That th® village council has heretofore duly established Village Project No. t~188
and after carefully considering all the factse the benefits to each tote piece or
parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premisese has found and d®termin®d and
hereby declares that each and evexay lote piecee or parcel of land included in said pro-
posed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Project
No. l;7.8 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed
assessment roll opposite each such lots piece or parcel of land.
~. The proposed total assessment in the amount of ~l~18~.89.80 is hereby affirmede
adoptede and confirmed and the sums fisted and named in said proposed assessment are
affirmede adopted and confirm®d as th® proper special assessment for each of said lotse
piecese or parcels of land r~spectivelye and said amoaint so set out is her®by levied
against each of the respective lotse piecese or parcels oi° land that®in described.
6. Said assessment is hereby affirmed8 adoptede confirmed and shall be certified by
the village clerk and filed in his office9 and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said water main constructions Village Project No. la7.$,
'~. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included
thereins concurrent with general taxers and shall be payable in equal annual install-
ments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall be payable on
the first Monday in January of 1963. 111 assessments shall bear inter®st at the rate
of 6~ per annum, To the first installrr~®nt shah. b® added interest on the ®ntire sssess-
ment.from the date of this r®solution until December 318 1.963. T® esoh subs®quent in-
stallment sha11 be added interest for one y®ar on ell unpaid installments,
All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over in the same
manner as oth®r municipal taxes.
