RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON V17~GE PROJECT N0. 439
BH IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield9 Hennepin County9
Minnesota' as follows
1. That the village clerk has9 with the assistance of the village engineer9 calculated
the proper amounts to b® assessed for the construction of sanitary sewer9 Village Pro~sct
No. 4399 against every assessable lot9 piece9 or parcel of land specially benefited
tri®reby in acoordance with the provisions of law9 and the proposed assessment so made up
was filed with the vil.lags cl®rk for more than 15 days prior to th® ass®ssment hearing
and was open to public inspection during said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as
required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessor®nt.
3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their ob-
3ections9 if any9 to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
4. That the village council has heretofore duly established Village Project No. 4399
and after carefully considering all the facts9 the benefits to each lot9 piec® or
parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premises9 has found and determined and
hereby declares that each and every lot9 piece9 or parcel of land included in said pro-
posed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Project
No. 439 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed
assessment roll opposite each such 1ot9 piece or parcel of land.
~. The proposed total ass®ssment in the amount of ~39~92.50 is hereby affirmed9 adapted9
and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed9
adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said l~ts9 p~.v:as9
or parcels of land respectively9 and said amount so set out is hereby levied against
each of the respective lots9 pieces, or parcels of 7.and Cherein described.
6. Said assessment is hereby affirmed9 adopted9 confirmed and shall b® certified by
the village clerk and filed in his office9 and shall thereupon be and constitute: the
special assessment for said sanitary sewer constructions Village Project No. 439.
'j. The assessment with accruing interest9 shall bs a lien upoa~ the property included
therein9 concurrent with general taacss9 and shall be payable in equal anxiual install-
ments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall be payable on
the first Monday in January of 1963. All assessments shall bear interest at the rats
of 6;$ per annum. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assess-
ment from the data of this resolution until I~cember 319 3.963. To each subsequent i~a-
stallment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over 3xa the same
manner as ether municipal texas.
