RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON VILLAGE PROJECT N0. t~12
BB IT RFiSOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County,
Minneaota, as follows g
1. That the village clerk has, with the assistance of the village engineer, e-aloulated
th® proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of sanitary sewer, Village Project
No. ltl2, against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benefited
theneby in accordance with the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so made
up was filed with the village clerk for mcr ® than 1~ days prior to the assessment hear-
ing and was open to public inspection during said period,
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as
required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment.
3. That an opportunity has been given to all i.nt®rested persons to present their ob-
,~ections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
~.. That the village council has heretofore duly established Vi1l.age Pro3ect No. x.12,
and after carefully considering all th® facts, the benefits to each lot, pi®ce or
parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determined and
hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said pro-
posed assessment roll was improv®d by reason of the oonstruotion of said Village Pro3ect
Noa 112 and has been and is specially benefited ira the amount set out i.~a said proposed
assessment roll opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land. '
5. The proposed total assessment in th® amount of X1,043.00 is hereby affirmed,
adopted, and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment ar®
affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assassin®nt for each of said lots,
pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described,
b. Said assessment is hereby affirm®d, adopted, ::onfirmed and shall be c®rtificd by
the village clerk and filed in his offic®, and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said sanitary sewer construction, Village Project No. ltl2.
7. The assessment with accruing i.raterest, shall be a lien upon the property included
therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual i.nstall-
ments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall be payable on
the first Monday in January of 1963. All assessments shall bear interest at the rate
of b~ per annum. To the first insta7.7~nent shall be added interest on the entire assess-
ment-from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1963. To each subsequent in-
stal].orent shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over in the same
manner as other municipal taxes.
