RESOLUTION NO. 2778

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER FROM CONTINGENCY
APPROPRIATION TO PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WIIBREAS, Pursuant to M.S. 179.57, an adjustment panel was created to
adjust a dispute between the Village of Richfield and the employees
of the fire and police departments represnetted by the fire and police
federation, and
VVHEREAS~, Such adjustment panel has met and suggested certain adjustor
menu and increases in the wage scale by the village council resolu-
tion #2606 dated October 9, 1961, and
11~RBAS, Such adjusted increases are hereby ordered for salaries in
19~i~ as foliow~:
3 captains @. $7.00 per month
12 firemen @. 7.00 per month
22? patrolmen @ 7.00 per month
3 sergeants @ 7.00 per month
3 detectives ~ 7.00 per month

NOW THERBFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the village council of the Village
of Richfield as followst
1. An amount of $1200.00 will be added to the 1962 budget for salar-
ies in the fire and police departments.
-- 2. That the manager and director of finance are hereby authorized and
directed to transfer the above amount from contingency appropriation
account and to make ndcess~y salary appropriation adjustments between
the fire and police departments.
Passed by the village council this 9th day of July, 1962.
