R1~nTd17'I41U ATITRORIZ]l~ AC~?IIISITION OF PARR PROPERTY
BE IT RESOL~IED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield Hennepin
County Minnesotan as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public healthy
safety convenienee~ prosperity and general welfare to acquire for park and other
municipal purposes the following described tract in the Village of Richfield County
of Hennepin State of Minnesotas to-wit:
"That part of Government Lots Six (6) and Seven (7), Section
Twenty-eight (28), Township Twenty eight (28), Range Twenty-
four (2~.)~ lying South of the following described boundary
lines to-wit: Commencing at the Southeast (SE) corner of Lot
Seven (7), Vehe Additions according to the plat thereof on file
or of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for
Hennepin County Minnesota; thence Southwesterly a distance
of 135.35 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot Seven (7)~ Vehe
A ddition~ to the actual point of beginning; thence continuing
Southwesterly on an extension of the South Line of said Lot Seven
(7) Vehe Addition to the, East line of the test twenty (20) acres,
of Government Lot Six (6), Section Twent -eight (28),. Township
Twenty-eight (28) ~ Range Twenty four (21~~.~r
2. The owner of said property ha agreed to convey the same to the village
for the som of One HLU?dred Fifty 07.50.00 dollars and such offer having been
determined to be a fair and reasonable offer, the same is hereby accepted..
3. The acts of the mayors managers finance officers and attorney heretofore
taken in acquiring said tract of land on the basis hereir_refore set forth' are
hereby approved ratified, and confirmed and such persons are hereby authorized
and directed to take such other further steps as may be necessary to complete the
acquisition of such tract of land for the cor~ideration hereinbefore mentioned.
