RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE IMPROVEMENT AND USE OF PAR~C PROPERTIES
BY RICHFIELD AMERICAN LITTLE LEAGUES INC,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield as followso
l., Permission is hereby given to the Richfield American Little League,4 Tnco,~.
a Corporation9 to 3.mprove and use certain park properties in this village in
accordance with the terms of this resolutiono-

A rectangular parcel of property 2204 in length by 2204 in width.
located in the southeast corner of Lincoln Parks the southerly
boundary being 504 north and parallel to the southerly line of said
Lincoln Park and the easterly boundax~r being 304 west and parallel
to the east line of said Lincoln Park containing lo-l acreso-

exclusive use of the area above describede but shall constitute permission on a
priority basis in consideration of the improvements of said property to b e made by
the Richfield American Little Leagues Inco When said premises are not being used
by said.corporation~ they may be used by other groups and organ%zations within the
Vi1l.age of Richfielde subject to such limitations as the village may impose: The
village shall undertake ~to impose regulationse if necessary so as to safeguard the
improvements which are put on said premises by the Richfield American. Little League9
Inc.9 but the village shall not guarantee that such improvements will not be damaged
by persons acting ~rithout authority of the v511agem
~. The permission herein granted shall be stib~ect to an agreement in writing
by the Richfield American Little Leagues Inco that i°t wi13. conform to the following
regulationsa .
A4 The permission granted is for the use of said premises for athletic
playing fields for the youth of the v3.11ege together with incidental facilim
ties and roadways, for th$ construction and location upon said premises of
a T~.ttle League size baseball d.~.amond~ together with temporary structures
such as backstops9 portable stands and benches9 portable dugouts9 removable
concession standee removable boundary fences suitable for advertising pla®
cards or signs which may be affixed thereto®
Ba Said premises shall be used by the Richfield American Little League9
Inco solely for basebal]. events of that organizations including practice

Cs .All income incidental to said use of the premises9 including admission
charges or contributionsa parking feese concession stand operations advertising
revenue, etcm, shall be devoted solely to the promotion of athletic events for

Da All improvements to be made upon said premises shall be in accordance
with the plans to be submitted to and approved by the Village Manager of the
Village of Richfield0

E. All construction steal]. be performed w3.thout any charge made by the
Richfield American Little League, Inc® against the Village of Richfield and
the Richfield American Little League9 Into shall hold and save harmless the
Village of Richfield from any and all claims, liens or liability which may
arise from the construction herein-before mentioned and from claims for
labor or material involved in the improvement of the above 'described premises.
All structures shall be removable and shall be removed at the termination of
this permission.
F. The said premises shall be kept free from debris' weeds, and refuse of
all kinds.
G. The Richfield American Little League, Inc. shall obey ar~y ordinances
of the Village of Richfield relating to the use of the property or conduct
of persons upon the property and shall obtain whatever licenses may be
necessary in order to comply with any law or regulation of the village or
any other governmental organization.
L. The Richfield American Little League, Tne. shall indemnify and hold
harmless the Village of Richfield from liability or claim of liability from
whatever cause of loss, damage or injury to persons or property on or about
the demised premises by reason of or in connection Vrlth the activities of the
F~chfield American Little League, Inc. and the village shall not be liable
to the Richfield American Little Leagues Into to any extent nor will ar~y said
organization make any claim against the Village of Richfield for or on account
of loss or damage to said premises or the improvement9 facilities or structures
thereon. The permission granted shall not be assignable to any other party
without the Pxpress cor_sent of the Village Council of the Village of Richfield.
~. Tlpon receipt of a signed agreement from the appropriate officers of the Richfield
American Little League, Inc.9 agreeir~ to the foregoing regulations, this permit shall be
effective and a substantial breach of. the foregoing regulations shall constitute a basis
for revoking the permission granted.
