RESOLUTION RELA~I~G TO APPOINTMENT OP PROCESS
SERVER OFPICERS
~iHBRFAS', this village has abolished the office of constable as pro-
vided by law, and
WHBRFA3, it is, therefore, necessary- under ordinance No. 12.04 to
designate by resolution, persons to service civil process in this
village.
NOW THEREFORE, BB IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Richfield, Hennepin County,, Minnesota, as follows:
1. Burton Reitan and Robert H.'Eckstein, residents and police
officers of the Village of Richfield, are hereby designated under
M.S. 412.161 L. 1957, Chap, 137, as the persons authorized to serve
civil processes in this v3:llage,
2. This designation shall. be effective immediately and shall
continue until January, 1963 and until their successors are selected
and qualif led.
This resolution supersedes any prior motion of the council relating
to the appointment of Process Server Officers.
Passed by the village council of the Village of Richf ieid this 8th
day of Januarys 1962,
