ABSOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON VILLAGE PROJECT NO. 411
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richf ieid, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the village clerk has, with the assistance of the village engineer, calculated
the proper amounts to be ,assessed for the construction of curb and gutter, Village Pro
Sect No. 411, against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benefited
therebq in accordance with the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so made up
was filed with the village clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing
and was open to public inspection at all times during said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as
required by law so that this council oo uld meet and pass=upon the proposed assessments
3. That an opportunity has been given to ail interested persons to present their obi
jections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
4.. That the village oouncil has heretofore duly established Village Project ~Io. 411,
and after Carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lots piece or
parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determined and
hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said prom
posed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Project
Nos-411 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed
assessment roil opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land,
5. The proposed total assessment in the amount of $5650.00 is hereby affirmed, adopted,
and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed,
adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces,
or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against
each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described,
6. Said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, conf firmed and shall be certified by
the village clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said curb & gutter construction, Village Project No. 411.
7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the propextp included
therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual install®
ments extending over a period of 1 year, The installment shall be payable on the first
Monday in January of 1962. All assessments shall~ea~ interest at the rate of 6°b,
per annum. To the first instaitnent shall be add` interest on the entire assessment
from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1962.
Ali assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid over in the same
manner as other municipal taxes.
