1. This council urgently requests that the State Liquor Control Commissioner
cor~ult the local governing bod,~ ~f th_ ~ ~nmmf~ni tv before talc?..ng final action upon
auy application for any permit ~? ~ would be used ~±hin this comity under the
provisions of M; r,resota Laws of 1Q61, Chapter 735a and that he gave the local govern-
ing body a reasonable length of time to make an i xavesti gstion and to express to Nita
its views on the question of whether such peranit shotald be granted or denied.
2• The State Liquor Control Comtrdssioner is hereb3r urged to give the greatest
possible consideration to the wishes of the local governing bock with reference to
a~ such applicativna so as to avoid at~y of tY~ difficultiesa relating to the
welfare of this comarunitya of the type hereinbefore mentioned.
3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward certified
copies of this resolution to the State I~quor Control Commissioner of the State of
Minnesota and to the Governor of the State of Minnesota.
