RESOLUTION ADOPTII~ ASSBSSMBNT ON VILLAGE PROJECT-N0. 395
BE -IT RE30LYE13 by the village council of
Minnesota, as follows:
the Yi~lage of Richf ieid, Hennepin County,
1s That the village clerk has,`with the assistance of the village engineer, calculated
the proper. amounts to be assessed for the construction of storm sewer, Village Project
No. 395 against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel o€ land specially benefited
thereby in accordance with the provisions of l.aw, and the proposed assessment so na de up
was filed with the village-clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing
and was open to public inspection at all times during said period,.
2. That not].Ce has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as
required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment.
3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their ob-
jections, if arty, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing,
4. That the village council has heretofore duly established Village T'rojeet No, 395,
and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece or
parcel of iand.and.fully advising .itself in the premises, has found and determined and
.hereby declares that each_and every lot, piece,. or parcel of land included in said. pro-
posed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Pm ject
Nos 395 and has been. and is-specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed
assessment .roll opposite each. such lot, piece or parcel of land.
5. The proposed total assessment in the amount. of ~13,~99.~.6 is hereby affire~¢,
adopted, and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are
affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said
Lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so.set out is hereby
levied against eaeh of the respective-lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described,
6. Said assessment is.hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified by
the village clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute ,t he
special assessment for said storm sewer construction, Village Project No. 395.
7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included
therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equalamat~al instalim
meats extending over a period of 20 yearss The first installment shall be payable
on the first Monday in January of 19620 All assessments shall bear interest at the
rate of 6~ per annum, To the first installment shall be added interest on the entir e
assessment from the date of this resolution until. December 31, 1962, To each subsem
quent installment shall be added interest for one yea?r on all unpaid installments.
All assessmment$ and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-aver in the same
manner as other municipal taxes,
