RESOLUTION AFPROVING LAWS OP 1961, EX4'RA SESSION,
CHAPTER •28, AN ACT "RELATING" ~ THE RICHFIELD FIREMEN'S

BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of~the Village of Richf ieid, as followsS
WHEREAS, an act relating tct _ the F~.remem's Relief Association of the Village
was passed in the 1961 Extra L;egilslative Session, which act is designated
as Laws of 1961, Extra 5esson~,. C}~apter,; 28, and.
WHEREAS, .such act is~.,a special.~la~v which, by its terms, requires that it
shall be effective ori~.y af't~r itsh approval by a ma3ority of the Village
Council of the Vi1~lage of Richf ie~,d, and upon compliance with Laws of 1959,
Chapter 368,-and
~9HEREPIS, it appears to this-cauncil to be.in the best interests of the
Village of Richf ieid,' its residents and, taxpayers that such law be made
effective by approval.,. of the Yill~,ge Council of the Village of Richfield;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it~resolvec~'bp'the Village Council of the Village of
Richfield, as follows A,
1. Laws of 1961:, Extra Sessions C~apter 28, entitled, '°An Act Relate
ing to the Village of.~ Richf ie~ld, and to;~ its Firemen's Relief Association,
Providing for Compul~Ory Membership bq Pire Department Personnel in Such
Association;' providing for. Coiapulsory Contributions by the Village of Rich®
field as Employer of Such Personnel; Describing Certain Limitations as to
Benefits for Such Personnel; and Repealing Chapter 348 of Laws of 195,°° is

2. The Village Clerk is `hereby- authorized and directed to cause
proof of adoption of this resolution to be sent to the Secretary of ~`tate,
as required by law.
