RESOLiiTION ADOPTING REVISBD ASSESSMENTS IN VILLAGE
PROJBCT NO. 370
WHEREAS, it has been determined that benefits received from stow
sewer construction are not in excess of $.035 per square foot, and
WHEREAS9 Resolution #2463 passed by the Village Council on the ~~nd
day of May, 19619 declared certain parcels in storm sewer construction,
Village Project 370 have been assessed in excess of benefits derived9 and
WHEREAS, Resolution #2463 ordered the preparation of proposed re®
wised assessments,
NOiP,', THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED try the Village of Richfield as fol~
iowse
1, That the assessments against parcels listed in said village
projects are hereby canceiledo
2. That the village clerk has, with the assis Lance of the village
engineer calculated the proper amounts to be reassessed for the constrrxcm
Lion of Village Project 370 consisting of storm sewers, against said. pa,r®
eels of land specialgy benefited thereby in accordance with the previsions
of law, and the proposed assessment so made up was filed with the Village
Clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and was open to
publics inspection at all times during said period.
3. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing hereto®
.fore duly held as required by law so that this council ~.ould meet and pass
upon the proposed assessment,
4a That an opportunity has been given to all interested p~:rsons to
present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to aray
item thereof at said public hearing.
~. The proposed assessment is hereby affirmed, a,doptesl, ar~d conm
firmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessments are ~,f®
firmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces9 ®r
paresis of sand respectively, and said amount so set out is taereby levied
against each of the respective lots,- pieces, or parcels of land therein
described,
_ 6a Sazd assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall
be certified by the village clerk and filed in his office, and shall there
up~in be and coastitute the special assessment for said storm sewers, Village
Pr®ject N®. 37®.
7. That all projects assessed in excess of $.f-3~g per square foot
sha,ii be paid for by general ad valorem tax levy as village share of con®
struction of said storm sewers.

8e The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the
propertS- included therein, concurrent with general ta~ees, and shall be pay®
able in equal annual: instailments~ as prodded in Resolution 2302 fnr Village
Pro3ect Noe 3y0 adopting the original assessment roil, extending over a
period of 20 years®
9, That the village cier~ be, and he hereby is9 authorised and
directed to furnish a certified copy of this resolution to the countp ~udi~
tor®
10a That the county auditor be, and he hereby is, authorised t~ cor~
teat his records.
