1961-2439r~~ RESOLUTION Noo 2439 RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT VILLAGE-OWNED LAND IS NO LO1~ER NEEDED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES, AND AUTHORIZING -ITS TRl'~NSFER IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT FOR DEED. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE 0~ RICHFIELD:, AS FOLLOWS a 1. It is hereby determined that the following described land is no longer needed for public purposes and that tae! same may be conveyed by appropriate deed to Minneapolis®Richfie]~ Post Nos 435, The•American Legion, Departmer~ of Minnesota a Minnesota cor- poration9 such lands being in the Village of Rich~ield County of _ Hennepin, State of Minnesota, and being legally descri~ied as follows, to®wit~ nThe West 540 feet of that part of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 28 North,.°Range 24-West, described as followsa sBeginning at a point-on the west line of said section ?09,12 feet north measured along the west line of said section from the West Quarter corner of said section; the nce east parallel with•th a east and west center line of said section 964.125 feet, more or less., to a point which is 320043 feet West of the north and south center line of the Northwest Quarter•of said Section 26; thence north 123.51 feet, more or less, to a judicial landmark; thence north a distance of 26.49-feet, more or less, along a line which i.f produced would intersect a judicial landmark 499.96 feet north of said first mentioned judicial landmark and 319.81 feet west of the north and south center line of-the Northwest~Quarter of said Section 26 to its point of intersection with a line drawn parallel with-the east and west center line of said section and 859.12 feet north of said east and west center line, measured along the west line of said section; thence west along said last mentioned line 960,96 feety more or less, to the-west line of said section;'thence southerly along said west line a distance of 150 feet to the point of beginning, 'Subject to restrictions of record. 20 This determination is based upon the fact that such property is being exchanged with the aforementioned Minneapolis~- Richfield P©st ~To. 435, pursuant to the provisions of a contract for deed between it and the Village of Richfield.
