RESOLUTION Noo 2428
A RESOLUTION OF TFi6 VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD tZ-DNCERNING
LEGISLATION TO PERMIT RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF
BLOOMINGTON TO VOTE ON THE'QUESTION OF ESTABLISHING
A MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STOREo
WHEREAS, The Council of the Village of Richfield is sympathetic
with the desire of the City of Bloomington to be allowed to votes ~n
the question of establishing a municipal liquor store, a right en®
joyed and exercised by some 390 other Minnesota municipalities9 and
WHEREAS, The City of Bloomington has requested the Council of
the Village of Richfield to support special legislation which would
permit such an election.
NOWa THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the Village of Richf field that
the Council support, and it does hereby, the passage of special legis~
lation which would allow the electorate of Bloomington to vote on the
question of the establishment of a municipal liquor stored
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That executed copies of this Resolution be
forwarded to the City.of Bloomingtong
