RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE IMPROVEMENT AND USE OF PAR~C
PROPERTIES BY RICHFIELD AMERICAN LITTLE LEAGUES INC.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield
as follows
1. Permission is hereby given to the Richf field American Little
League, Inc., a Corporation, to improve and use certain part properties
in this village in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
' 2. The tract of land which shall be the subject of this per®
mission is described as followsa
A rectangular parcel of property 220 in length by 2201
in width located in the southeast corner of Lincoln Park9
the southerly boundary being 50a north and parallel to the
southe rly line of said Lincoln Park and the easterly boundary
being 30' west and parallel to the east line of said Lincoln
Park containing 1.1 acres.
3, This permission shall be for the term of one year, i.e., the
calendar year 1961. The permission herein granted shall not constitute
a permit to the exclusive use of the area above described, but shall
constitute permission on a priority basis in consideration of the im~
provements of said property to be made by the Richfield American Little
League, Inc. When said premises are not being used by said corporation9
they may be used by other groups and organizations within the Village
of Richfield, subject to such limitations as the village map,impos~.
The village shall undertake to impose regulations, if necessary, so as
to safeguard the improvements which are put on said premises by the
Richf field American Little League, Inc., but the village shall net
guarantee that such improvements will not be damaged by persons acting
without authority of the village.
4. The permission herein granted shall be subject to an agreement
in writing by the Richfield American Little League, Inc. that it will
conf orm to the following regulationsa
A. The permission granted is for the use of said premises for
athletic playing fields for the youth of the village tog ether with
incidental facilities and roadways, for the construction and
location upon said premises of a Little League size baseball
diamond, together with temporary structures such as backstops,
portable stands and beaches, portable dugouts, removable concession
stands, removable boundary fences suitable for advertising placards
or signs which may be affixed thereto.
B. Said premises shall be used by the Richfield American Little
League, Inc. solely for baseball events of that organization, in®
eluding practice sessions.
