RBSOLCJTION ESTABLISHING COUNCIL OPINION ON MUNICIPAL
WATER SYSTEM

BB IT RESOLVED' that the council of the Village of Richfield does re-
commend a municipal water system for the Village of Richfield.
BE IT PUR~IER RESOLVED that the council recommends that this system
be initially supplied by wells, and that the water therefrom be treated
for the removal of iron and softened to five grain hardness plus necesa
nary floridation and chlorination. This system is to be so constructed
that it will readily adapt itself to connect with a metropolitan or
expanded Minneapolis water system if at any time in the future it should
prove.praetical or necessary to do so.
Passed by the council of the V311age of Richfield this 26th day of
September, 1960.
