RESOLUTION PROVIDING TAXES FOR PAYMBNT OF BONDS COVERING
THE VILIAGB ASSUMED SF~ARE OF SPECIAL AS5B3SMENT PRO,rBCT

'~]EREAS, certain improvements: known as sidewalk construction have been
ordered, total costs determined and are being assessed, and
WHEREAS, resolution No. 1976 dated September 14, 1959 directed the
issuance and sale of improvement bonds to provide permanent financing for
construction, and
f~JkIBREAS, total costs of Village Pro3ect No. 35r has been determined at
$8087.00 of which $417.40 is assessed on resolution No, 1927, dated July 87,
1959 against benefited properties, and
~ffiRSAiS, these costs not assessed in the amount of $1669.60 are being
as+si~ssed as village share, and
~RBAS, it is hereby determined to levy an ad valorem tax which, to-
get er with the collection of special assessments wilt produce an amount of
at least 5% in excess~of the amounts needed to meet when due the princi~aa
and interest payments on the bonds issued to meet the above construction

NOW THEREFORE, BB IT RESOLV BD by the village council of the Viiiage of
Richfield as foliowsa
1. That there shall be levied upon all the taxable .property in-the
village a direct ad valorem tax which shall be spread upon the teat rolls
and collected. with and as a part of other general taxes of the village,
which tax is in the years and amounts as follows
1959 $46.7.00
1960 467.00
1961 467.00
1968 467.00
1965 ~6?.00

Each of said levies shall be irrepeaiabie, provided that the village re-
ser'~es the right to reduce said levies in the manner and to the extent per®
matted by law.
~.8. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file-with
the County Auditor o~ Hennepin County a certified copy of this resolution
together with such other information as the County Auditor may require.
