RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THB PURCHASB OF CERTAIN
PROPBRTY POR PARR AND PLAYGROUND PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVBD By the Village Council of the Village of Richf ie1d, Hennepin
County, as f ollows~~, to wit
1® Tt is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public
health, safety,. convenience, prosperity and general waif are to ac~
quire for park and playground purposes the following described propertys to
wit:
Block One (1~ and Outlot 44A°Q of Irwin Shores, according to the
plat thereof ~ on f lie or of record in the office of the Register
of Deeds in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota,
2~ Whereas the owners of such property have offered to sell the same to
the Village of Richfield for the sum of $22,500, it is hereby determined that
such offer is 'a fair and reasonable price for the purchase of said properties
and the same is hereby acceptedm
3, A proposed purchase agreement provided for the purchase of said pro®.
s parties at such price, dated September 14, 1959, is hereby given Clerk°s Pile
Nom .~'ba3~}- and is ordered to be placed on file, The mayor and manager are
hereby authorized and directed to execute such purchase agreement for and on
behalf of the village and the mayor, manager, finance officer and attos~aey
are hereby authorized and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to
effect the purchase of said property in accordance with the terms of s~.id
agreement and this resolution„
~m A11 monies payable as part of the purchase price of said properties
shall be paid out of and charged against the Park Pund to be covered by perm
manent transfer of funds from surplus monies of the Liquor Store Pund®
