1959-1942r~'~.r~ ~_'i~'-~ RESOLUTION N0. 1942 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON DILLAG~ PROJECT N0. 336 BE IT RESOLVED by the V313.age Council of the Village of Richfield; Hennepin Coun'tys Plinnesota~ as follows:. ~ .. .. ~l. That the Village Clerk has, Trnl.th the assistance of the Vil~.age Engineer, calculated :the proper amounts to be assessed far the construction of pavement, curb and gutter, -O3,llage Project. No. 336, ~against~ every assessable lot, piece,, 'or p.aroel of .land specially benefited thereby aLn :accordance wa.th the provisionsof law= and the proposed assessment so made up was filed..:with .the Village clerk fox more than 15 days pxior to ,the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection at all times during said period, V 2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as .required by law so that this, council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment -e 7 - _ 3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their ~ob~ecticns, if any to such proposed asaessrr~ent or to any-item .thereof at said public hearing, ~ ~ . 4. That the Village council has heretofore duly established Village Project No. 336, and after carefully considering all the.facts~ the benefits to each lot piece or parcel of land: and fully advising itself in' the premiaes~ has found and' determined and h®reby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Project No.336 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set~out in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such .lot, piece or parcel of land. ~. The proposed total assessment in the amount of X14,278..16 is hereby affirmed: adopted, and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed,. adopted and. confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots pieces, or parcels of land re.specti!~ely~ and said amount so set out is hereby 3.evied against each of-..the respective lots, pieces, or-parce.ls o~ land therein described. b. said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified by the V3.llage clerk and filed in his. office, and shall thereupon be~ and const~:tute...the especial assessment: for said Pavement.; Curb & Gutter Construction! Tillage: Project, :No.33b. 7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included therein, concurrent with., general taxes, ahd shall be payable. ine~qual :annual i~tall-: merits eartendixig over a period of 10 years. X11.. assessments shall bear interest-at the rate of.6~~per annum, To the first~installmen;t sha11 bQ added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1960. To each subse- quent installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 1 All assessments and interest thereon sha11 be collected and paid-over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
