A RESOLUTION AMENDING I~SOLUTION No. 1188 ET~TITLED nA
RESOLUTION PItOV IDTNG FOY. THE CREATION OF A LONG RANGE
CAPITAL INiPROVEMENT5 PLANNING COI~MISSIONt~.
Be it resolved by the 'Village Council of the Village of
Richfield, I~iinnesota, as follows:
Article II - Membership, of Resolution No. 1188, entitled TMA
resolution providing for the Creation of a Long Range Capital
Improvements Planning Commission~p, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
A,aT,IC +_II ~ MEMBERSHIP The membership of the Commission shall
consist o f ve regular members appointed by the Vi3.lage
Council. In addition to such members, the Village, Manager and one
member of the Village Council, and the Superintendent of Schools
and one member of the Board of said District #12 shall be ex-officio
members of the Commission, Such members are named to the Commission
with a view that their membership will facilitate the exchange of
information between the bodies they represent and the Commission.
Such ex-officio memberships shall be without vote and shall not be
counted in determining a quorum necessary for the transaction of
business. A quorum necessary for the transaction of business shall
be three. The term of office of the. regular members shall be one
year and sha~.l begin at the time of appointment. The terms of all
regular members shall expire on the second Monday in December of
the year for which they are appointed.
Ugon the resignation of any member or upon the failure of any member
to attend three meetings of the Commission without cause, the council
shall appoint a successor to the Commission:
